As part of my services, I offer therapeutic strategies to help you heal and improve your relationship with yourself. We will work on fostering self-acceptance, developing self-compassion, and building self-esteem.
Through our sessions, we will explore your inner dialogue, challenge negative self-perceptions, and reinforce positive self-beliefs. We will also work on cultivating mindfulness and self-awareness, helping you to better understand your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, and their impacts on your daily life.
Join our group workshops and seminars to experience the power of collective growth. These sessions are designed to bring together individuals who, like you, are on a path to self-improvement and discovery.
Counseling can be beneficial for couples who are facing various challenges, such as frequent conflicts, communication problems, trust issues, or dissatisfaction in the relationship. The goal is to help couples build healthier relationships and make thoughtful decisions about their future together.
I always describe therapy as a relationship, and just like dating, you wouldn’t fall in love with just anyone you swipe right on.
We’ll start with a consultation and if it feels like a good match, we’ll explore your goals for coming to therapy and create a treatment plan to match.
As much as capitalism would like us to believe, there is no quick fix. Healing yourself, your history, your mind takes time and effort.
Together we will work on developing tools and skills that support you on your journey to growth.
Throughout our time together I will encourage you to be open and honest about how you feel your therapy is going. This work is for you and your goals. We can always adjust and change to better meet your needs.

While I prefer to see clients in person, I do offer virtual therapy to clients that reside throughout Oregon. If available we could do a blend of in person and virtual. I work from a blend of psychodynamic, cognitive behavioral, existential and feminist theories.
I believe that it is helpful to realize where our patterns, beliefs and behaviors came from to begin to untangle them.
I know that the crises we face as human species are all interconnected and that a spiritual perspective can support you in finding hope.
A spiritual therapist integrates the psychological and spiritual aspects of a person’s existence into their therapeutic approach. They help individuals understand who they are at a deeper level, recognizing the spiritual dimension of life. They provide a space for individuals to explore their beliefs, values, and connection to something greater than themselves in a non-judgmental, supportive environment. Techniques such as mindfulness, meditation, guided imagery, and contemplative practices are used to support spiritual exploration and growth. The aim is to foster a deeper sense of self-understanding and self-acceptance, enhance inner peace and resilience, and improve overall well-being.
Religion usually refers to specific organized belief systems that include shared rituals, practices, and doctrines. They often have established institutions, like churches, temples, or mosques, and formalized sets of beliefs and rules that followers are expected to adhere to.
Spirituality refers to an individual’s personal sense of connection to something greater than themselves, which could be the universe, nature, or some form of higher power. Spirituality often involves personal growth, self-awareness, and the pursuit of personal values and meaning. It is more about one’s personal journey and experiences rather than adherence to a specific set of beliefs or practices.
My work is spiritual and nature based. I use a variety of tools both in session and as homework. I often “prescribe” time in nature where you can sit, relax and really connect. I also utilize meditation, hypnotherapy, visualizations and affirmations.
I always compare therapy to a relationship. You aren’t meant to click with everyone. I offer 20 min free consultations so we can get to know each other. Let’s see if we are the right fit to meet your needs!
Meaghan Myers acknowledges that her practice is based on the unceded territory of Cowlitz and Clackamas peoples. These peoples have been in relationship with this land since time immemorial.
